The spring bulbs, flowers and trees are blooming at Currents. It’s such a nice feeling of spring and freshness. There are lots of places on the island where you can purchase fresh flowers. I love to have fresh flowers at the cottage. It’s been a busy spring getting ready for the season. The pool is setup and everyone enjoyed the pool during the Victoria Day long weekend, the weather was lovely and warm. The cafe at the Marina is now opening and getting set up for the season. There are new chairs at the point to sit and watch seals and otters in the bay. Taking a day trip to Mayne is easy, the ferry docks right by a pub which has a wonderful view. The Saturday market has lots of vendors and the fresh bread is really wonderful.
